About me

Since encountering my own personal challenges of undergoing fertility treatment, and being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, I am able to offer empathy and understanding towards those with challenging health conditions, as well as a range of other issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues and bereavement.

I offer a free 15 minute phone call during which you can ask any questions and see if we would be a good fit for each other. Your initial assessment will also be half price, and I offer a 10% discount if six sessions are booked altogether. Please get in touch via email or book an introductory call. Alternatively you can book an assessment straight away.

How do you know if I’m the right counsellor for you?

It is so important that the counsellor you pick is someone you feel comfortable with. It can be difficult to judge this, so let me tell you a bit about myself.

Born in Scotland, I came to Northern Ireland in 2008 with my husband. I worked as a teacher for 5 years before running my own study centre business for 11 years. After being inspired by my own experience of counselling to help me come to terms with my disability, I trained to become an integrative counsellor.

I have experience providing counselling in a community setting, most recently for Portadown Wellness Centre, and I have also worked for the MS Society in Belfast, offering counselling for those diagnosed with MS as well as their carers.
